Join a Mental Health Support Group

Joining a support group for depression can be a really good way of seeking help and feeling less alone.

Being with others dealing with depression can go a long way in reducing your sense of isolation. You can also encourage each other, give and receive advice on how to cope, and share your experiences.

There are tonnes of support groups out there, on both a local and national level, so we’d suggest having a quick google and finding the right place for you. Rethink Mental Illness offer a postcode search function to locate your nearest groups and Mind has an extensive directory which lists over 300 groups that you can approach.
