How to Fight Post-Pandemic Anxiety

Neuroscientist Tara Swart, breaks down some of the ways in which Covid-19 has impacted our lives, and makes the suggestion to “lean into hope and anticipation” in order to emerge from the pandemic with a renewed sense of positivity.

 

As Swart notes: “Hope is not the unfounded assumption that a positive outcome is inevitable. Instead, it is the belief and willpower that we have a pathway to our desired outcome.”

 

Having a belief that we can get to where we want to be can be a powerful way of conquering the anxiety surrounding a post-pandemic world, and resuming life in a way that excites and satisfies us.
